Dr. Alan M. Rapoport, O.D.
Dr. Rapoport is a graduate of Tulane University with a biology degree. He graduated from the New England College of optometry in 1986. He has been in practice for 21 years. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and serves on the Board of the Mass Society of Optometrists.
My father started his eyecare practice in Canton Center in the 1950’s. As his practice grew along with the size of the population, I decided to join him in practice in 1986, where we practiced together for 15 years until he retired to Florida.
Since my time here as a solo practitioner I have expanded the office and have grown the patient base. In 2011, celebrating my 25th year in practice I doubled the size of the office in Canton Center.
Canton and the surrounding communities have increased in size tremendously. In order to improve patient care to the growing population, I am happy to announce the opening of a modern and new, second office in Canton, located at 1032 Turnpike St. For many of you, this will be a more convenient location to access all your eyecare needs.
Between the 2 locations, there will be no shortage of great, stylish eyewear and sunglasses to choose from. We have a full range of affordable eyeglasses for all ages, and take most insurances.
